In this email-based, online course you will learn about the practice of Exhibitions and how that practice can enhance your students’ learning. Exhibition provides, both teachers and students, a way to showcase their learning and receive assessment on work from external audiences. Course participants will work to create a plan for a forthcoming student exhibition.

Mari Jones is the Project Co-director of the Deeper Learning Hub, a national practitioner hub whose mission is to spread deeper learning practices and ensure that more students across the country are achieving deeper learning outcomes. She is co-leading the Share Your Learning Campaign which aims to focus on spreading a small set of practices (exhibition, student-led conferences, and presentations of learning), to 5 million students by 2020. She is also an Improvement Facilitator for the Center for Research on Equity and Innovation at High Tech High Graduate School of Education.

Patrick is a former classroom art educator at High Tech High Chula Vista as well as an Instructional Designer for the Office of Graduate Education at MIT. Currently Patrick is working with the HTH Graduate School of Education to enhance user experience for all audiences both on, and off, line.
Robert is a Junior Designer at San Diego-Based design firm PYD Studio. He is a former High Tech High Chula Vista student, and has returned to the school to help run after school programs from time to time.
